Begin your Festival journey with a visit to the Exhibition at Kingston House which brings all that is Tūhono to life through imagery and stories provided by local students and their tutors. Artwork depicts the pathway ad journey from Kingston House to the Kororipo Heritage Park and Rewa’s village, complimented by stories of historic events and photographic images, both historic and present – so that as you walk the path you feel immersed in the history and experiences of this significant area. The very best of our local artists have created unique artworks and installations that are tūhono themed. These one-off pieces are being exhibited over the Festival Weekend, and festival visitors have the opportunity to purchase these. In addition, we are excited that an installation designed by Tash Nikora is being exhibited throughout the weekend in Kororipo Heritage Park.
